Partner’s event: Webinar «Migration of LGBTI+ people to/from Ukraine and Georgia:

Date and time: November 24, 2020, from 16:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time (15:00 – 17:00 CET, 18:00 – 20:00 Tbilisi), at the Zoom platform.

The human migration occurs in the context of the constantly changing geopolitical situation in the world, including LGBTI+ representatives, both within the country and primarily to other countries, in search of better living conditions and a safer space free from homophobia and transphobia. The deteriorating of economic situation and the military conflicts further contribute to migration.

The webinar aims to talk about the reasons for migration, challenges and problems faced by LGBTI+ migrants, including at the conditions of COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the help they need to successfully socialization and on plans for the future.

The webinar will be held in Russian with simultaneous translation into German, English and Georgian.
