We are pleased to invite you to participate in the online meeting of the Partner network of Organizations Supporting Migrants*, which will take place on November 19, from 10:00 to 11:30 CET.
The purpose of the meeting is to consolidate the efforts of civil society, experts, and international partners to ensure continuous access to healthcare services for mobile populations. The discussion will focus on ensuring the continuity of prevention, medical care, and treatment for HIV, tuberculosis, and viral hepatitis in the context of the cross-border movement of migrants and refugees between the Eastern Europe, Central Asia (EECA) region and the European Union.
Given evolving migration flows within the WHO European Region, building sustainable cross-border support systems is crucial. The meeting will feature presentations by experts and practitioners from Central Asia, the South Caucasus, as well as Eastern, Central, and Western Europe.
The event program covers three key areas:
- Cross-border pathways: Mechanisms for effective coordination and support of migrants moving across countries.
- Referral Systems: Development and implementation of unified chains of care in the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the EU regions.
- Innovations and technologies in the social sector: Application of artificial intelligence tools to optimize routine processes in service non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
We invite representatives of relevant civil society and international organizations, experts, and specialists working in the field of migration and public health to participate.
The meeting will be conducted in Russian and English (with simultaneous translation). To participate and receive the event link, please register here.
