“Migrant Health Beyond Barriers: Human Stories and Pathways to Sustainable Community Health”. REGs meeting timed to World Migrant Day

On December 18 (10:00-11:30 CET), International Migrants Day, REG whithin iSoS project will hold an online meeting, “Migrant Health Beyond Barriers: Human Stories and Pathways to Sustainable Community Health” focusing on improving access to healthcare services for key populations among migrants in host countries.

In the first part of the meeting – “Social determinants” – experts from NGOs assisting refugees and migrants will share their experiences in addressing complex cases, highlighting both the pathways and the barriers migrants encounter when seeking treatment.

The second part of the event – “Sustainability” – will focus on discussing possiblescenarios for ensuring the sustainability of community-based and migrant-led NGOs, with particular attention to opportunities for local funding sources.

The meeting will bring together experts from NGOs and migrant programs, as well as representatives of international organizations and donor institutions supporting health and migration initiatives.

The meeting will be held in English, Ukrainian, and Russian (simultaneous translation). To join the meeting, please register using the link and we will send you Zoom invitations to participate.
